QLD Increase in Monetary Limits - Bill Introduced to Parliament

The Civil and Criminal Jurisdiction Reform and Modernisation  Amendment Bill 2010 was introduced to parliament on 13 April 2010.

Once passed, this bill will increase the monetary thresholds in the Civil Jurisdiction as follows;

• Magistrates Court $50,000 to $150,000
• District Court $250,000 to $750,000
