Warrants Compared Across Different States and Territories
An Arrest Warrant is an enforcement action that attempts to force the debtor to attend the Local Court. If a debtor has failed to attend an examination hearing, you can apply for an Arrest Warrant. When the Warrant has been processed by the Local Court, the Sheriff attempts to arrest the debtor and taking the debtor to the local court in order to conduct an examination detailing their financial position. Further enforcement action can then be taken.
