Changes to Western Australian Sheriff

The Western Australian Sheriff has outsourced the following activities to Baycorp (WA) Pty Ltd;
- enforcement of civil court orders
- collection of underpaid clients
- service of civil court documents
- service of notices issued by the WA Department of Transport on persons who have had their licences suspended for various reasons.

The outsourcing contract is for a period of 3 years with 2 one year options and covers Southern WA between Geraldton, Kalgoorlie and Esperance.

Baycorp will have full responsibility for the above mentioned services from the beginning of May. Transitional arrangements are currently being undertaken for hand over from the 81 police officer bailiffs that Baycorp will be replacing.
